Editor for Traffic Simulator
Malaník, Michal ; Snášelová, Petra (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create an editor of intersections with a graphical user interface for Brno traffic simulator. As an input of the editor is used file of geographic data, which is downloaded from the freely available database of server OpenStreetMap. At first are in downloaded geographic data detected intersections. The detection is performed using a detector, which was also created within this work. Editor then allows to edit the intersections to be as much as possible accurate. This process involves modeling the number of lanes, layout and types of traffic lights and also traffic detectors and many other real-world objects. The edited data are then made available in the form of an output file in XML format and are hereby provided for the traffic simulator.
Computational Model and Analysis of Adaptive Traffic Lights
Terbr, Filip ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the topic of adaptive intersections and the study of their influence on the flow of traffic and others. The work contains an analysis of currently used traffic detectors, an analysis of the main problems of classic intersections and the possibilities of their solution, followed by the design of the model, a description of the implementation and testing of the created model. The resulting model is created in the UPPAAL SMC software and is a system of timed automata communicating with each other. Testing is performed by comparing the results of tests of classical traffic lights with the results of adaptive traffic lights.
Dopravní telematika
Buchta, Pavel
This bachelor thesis deals with intelligent transport systems. In the first part, there are mentioned basic concepts, which are further developed to different systems possibilities, which help to identify vehicles. Practical part is dedicated to comparing cam-era systems and traffic detectors, so it is possible to define the most effective system.

Centralised Traffic System Load Evaluation
Zukal, Marek ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
There are statistical data gathered as a part of the operation of the intersections controlled by the traffic light signalling devices. This data concerns characteristics of traffic flows and parameters of the aplied controlling strategy and can be valuable source of information that can be used to improve the controlling strategy or creation of a mathematical model describing the behaviour of the traffic flows. These models are closely studied and used for prediction of the immediate development of the traffic flows based on their current states. This paper is trying to design means to create such models and to work with them.
